Sustainability Senior Associate/Manager
Cubera Private Equity is one of the leading fund investors in the Nordics. We are currently more than 30 investment professionals working out of offices in Oslo and Stockholm and are now seeking additional resources to support the growth of our business. We are currently managing and advising EUR 5bn on behalf of institutional clients in the Nordics, Europe and the US. Cubera is an autonomous subsidiary of Storebrand Asset Management, one of the oldest and most renowned sustainable financial market participants globally and Norway's largest asset manager. Cubera is a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).
Cubera's tailor-made investment products provide its clients with exposure to the Private Equity asset class through commitments to new private equity funds, co-investments, and purchase of secondary private equity fund positions. Cubera has long-standing relations with the leading private equity fund managers globally and we strive towards being a trusted partner in every relation.

Our focused history gives investors unique access combined with state- of-the-art diversification. Since 2022, Cubera has a dedicated Impact-strategy in place and is currently preparing to launch of the next fund in early 2025.
To meet Cubera's ambitions and evolving market requirements with respect to sustainability, responsible investing and impact, we are searching for a new colleague to join our Sustainability team.
The opportunity
To shape the future of Cubera's sustainability work and enhancing the firm's competitive edge
To influence Cubera's investment results by shaping internal ESG policies, processes, and reporting and data-processes
Opportunity for a sustainability professional to realize their ambition within sustainable and impact investing
Key responsibilities
Partnering with key stakeholders across the firm to advance ESG efforts
Managing and developing Cubera's sustainability and impact reporting, including Cubera’s SFDR disclosures
Monitoring sustainability work and results within the investment portfolio and the firm
Collecting data from fund managers and external data providers
Compiling data and writing papers and reports
Contributing to keeping Cubera compliant with ESG/sustainability regulations
Continuous improvement of the internal ESG & impact toolbox including development of relevant KPIs
Contribute to fund-selection and investment due diligence with regards to sustainability and impact
Liaising with relevant group functions at Storebrand Asset Management
We believe that you will succeed in this role if you recognize yourself in most of these points:
Higher education degree (MSc or MBA preferred, BSc can be sufficient for the right candidate)
4-6 years' experience in sustainable finance and/or related sustainability roles
Strong analytical skills
Ability to use data to highlight trends and communicate important messages
Strong collaboration skills and drive towards reaching deadlines
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to influence and understand key partners
An energetic person with willingness to learn
The ability to think in a commercial, creative, and pragmatic way
English and at least one Scandinavian language
